As an activist out of Chicago, Prexy has had a long and distinguished career in the anti-apartheid movement as well as African freedom struggles overall. Traveling the length and breadth of the African continent, Prexy has shared his experiences and taught thousands throughout the U.S. about the struggles and history of African liberation. As a respected leader in the movement, Prexy knew Mandela as well as Mandela's wife Graca Machel and would frequently visit them when in South Africa. Tonight we will talk with Prexy about his reflections of Mandela and where we go from here.
