Sad news Cassandra Yazzie Passes
NVISION Volunteer passes away in Car Accident.
We lost a true warrior woman who sought the best for her people. 2 days ago, Cassandra Yazzie, a strong Native Mother, Activist and NVISION volunteer, passed away in a car accident. Her three children were in the car with her and remain in the hospital. A donation account has been set for her at Wells Fargo Bank in Durango, Colorado. She graced us with her presence and energy during PAWNEE NVISION and was a participant in the Graffiti Writing workshop, as well as being politically active in her own community.
