Atlanta International Action Center.
The IAC received a message an hour ago that the long-time human rights activist, founder of IFCO-Pastors for Peace, supporter of the Cuban revolution and the struggles of oppressed peoples everywhere has died.
Rev. Walker's creative efforts, especially the Caravans for Peace that annually brought humanitarian assistance to Cuba in defiance of the US blockade, earned him international respect and love. The IAC worked with Rev. Walker and IFCO-Pastors for Peace on many campaigns. Our sorrow is shared worldwide.
Lucius Walker, presente! A luta continua!

We are saddened by this news, as we met Rev. Walker many years ago and were inspired by his dedication and courage. Save The Sacred Sites Alliance joins everyone in expressing our regrets at the loss of a great man.
