Arizona Apartheid & Other Issues From Atlanta
Atlanta has an opportunity this coming week-end to add to the national opposition to the Arizona apartheid law, SB 1070. Please make every effort to participate in the protests scheduled for the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball games at Turner Field, May 14-15. See the calendar for the details.
Also you are urged to join the Atlanta International Action Center facebook for time sensitive announcements about activities. This will be especially important for fast mobilizations needed to counter attempts to close down the Peachtree-Pine homeless shelter.
Another recent addition to the IAC's ongoing educational work is the production of short videos featuring local, national and international activists and their struggles. The most recent is a three part series focusing on the Agent Orange Justice tour which brought Vietnamese advocates and victims of the US chemical war on their country to Atlanta. To view those videos, please go to http://www.facebook.com/l/7c414;www.youtube.com/user/AtlantaIAC
Thanks.
