ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Detectives have been showing around the picture of Baby Angel, the little boy found buried at an Albuquerque park, in hopes someone will recognize him.
Police Chief Ray Schultz said an expert has created an artist rendering of Baby Angel by using computer software and pictures taken at the crime scene.
Chief Schultz said this photo will be the pivotal part of the investigation.
Neighbors told Action 7 News the child's face looks familiar and he has been seen around the park before.
Police need the family of Baby Angel to come forward about the death of the child.
"If it was an accident, if it was a natural death, if someone is scared just to report that we need to talk to the parent of guardian the person responsible for this child," said Chief Schultz.
Detectives from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children have offered their help and are expected to be in Albuquerque in a few days.
Anyone who thinks they have seen or know Baby Angel call 1-877-SOLV-APD or 505-242-COPS. Officers are manning the phones 24 hours a day.
