Osiyo David,

This week's newletter features these and other stories:

Hundreds of families in southern Delaware County will soon be able to turn on their taps and be rewarded with clean rural water from a new self-help waterline that Cherokee Nation will start constructing this month.

All Mayes County kids and their parents are invited to a special back-to-school event. The Cherokee Nation’s Human Services Group, in partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Pryor Public Schools and other county agencies, is hosting a back-to-school fair.

The deadline for applications for Miss Cherokee has been extended until Friday, July 30. The Cherokee Nation is inviting young Cherokee women the chance to represent their nation and receive higher education scholarships, recognition and the experience of a lifetime.
